Anyone and everyone, students, administrators, sustainable enthusiasts, update us on the goings-on at your school! Have your organic efforts paid off or do you need some advice from other readers? This page is a bit more informal than the weekly essays being posted on the blog and should allow you to feel more apt to write a quick note here or there to brag or groan in answer to the question “what’s new and organic with you”? Don’t be shy!

For one reason or another Tufts University is behind many schools in the country as far as food activism. We don’t have any sustainable ag, local food or gardening groups and I think it is about time we did. That isn’t to say Tufts doesn’t try, in fact dining services buys a good portion of their vegetables locally, not that any students know it. I’m hoping to launch “Eat Your Zip Code” next semester and want some tips for starting a student group. How can I get people to come? What are some simple things to do around campus that can really make a difference? Or better yet, what are things I definitely shouldn’t try? Thanks!
